Amazon.co.uk Review For those a little poky about catching onto the Pokemon craze, this game is a great way for the uninitiated to get their feet wet on Pokemon Pinball. Also, pinball fanatics should not dismiss this as a kid's game, because it's a solid pinball game, regardless of the Pokemon brand. Two Pokemon-themed tables, Red and Blue, are here for players to bounce the Pokeball around in hopes of catching up to 150 Pokemon monsters. The monsters are collected by hitting targets on the pinball tables and, once collected, the monsters can be perused in the popular Pokedex format. Owners of the Game Boy printer can print their prize collections and mount their characters on the wall, if they so desire. Unfortunately, the monsters collected in Pokemon Pinball cannot be traded with other Pokemon monsters from the Red, Blue, or Yellow games, making this game a stand-alone product. A unique aspect of the game is that it has a built-in rumble pack, which vibrates and shakes the Game Boy system as the Pokeball bounces around the screen. --Jeff Young

Gotta catch them (pinb)all! October 30, 2001 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a great game for the gameboy colour. I got it ages ago and still play it on my gameboy advance, its that good. I'm working on catching all 150 Pokemon and its a real challenge. There are two tables, each with extra tables that are made available by hitting the correct bumbers etc. as you'd expect on a real pinball table. The built in rumble pack is very good, but you can switch it off if playing in company (or people will think you have a stomach complaint). The only niggle is that each table is split screen, so you only see half the table at a time - as the ball passes half way, the screen kind of scrolls to show the other half. However, I'm quite used to it - its so quick that you don't notice after a bit. If you are a Pokemon fan - buy it. If you are a pinball fan - buy it. Enjoy!

My brother bought this game, and I have to say it IS a good pinball game. But...it's too hard. It's impossible to complete, and by the time you get the hang of it, you'll get bored.
