Wacky Worlds is just an add-on! Many people are complaining about how rubbish it is. It's not rubbish. An add-on pack is just a patch or a upgrade, it's not actually a new game. For the price, I think it's not a bad deal. I have RCT2 and i can't get off it. If you want a whole new version of RCT2 write to Chris Sawyer. Don't complain it hasn't got enough stuff. It's hard enough to create an add-on for RCT2 as it is. My advice that if you are a fanatic, i would buy it! Have fun!

I bought this expansion pack with high hopes, as I was really impressed with Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 & 2. However, I felt it was a complete let down. Despite its claims of new rides and attractions. I discovered that the so called NEW rides were just copies of the old ones. Also all the new rollercoasters that I saw, did not have any pre built designs to choose from, like in the first two games. This is okay if you are an expert at building rollercoasters from scratch. I am not and find it very difficult to design a rollercoaster, infact impossible. I am dependant on the the pre built designs for my parks. Therefore this expansion pack was a waste of money for me as I'm still stuck with all the usual rollercoaster designs from RCT2.

this game has some great idea put into it, and just like rollercoaster tcoon 2 is entertianing, and can amuse people for hours and hours. There are some new rollercoasters which are fairly good, and fit well with the original rides. Now as with most games there are downsides. The graphics are not up to what they should be, and they could have been looked at a little more. It is still very entertaining and has a reasonable proce tag, but beware, can be very addictive!

outher wise rides scenery and more is great!

To say I am addicted to RCT2 wouldn't be far wrong. To say I am disappointed with the WW add-on is putting it mildly. New vehicles on the rides do not make a NEW ride. For instance the water rides; submarine ride now comes with killer whales or hippos, crocodile ride is just a water coaster with croc shaped boats and mandarin ducks -> swans in fancy dress. And another bit of bad news in the scenario editor you are still limited to how many rides and objects you are allowed to have (a real bug-bear I want them ALL!) One of the reasons that it gets so many stars are the objects, some are stunning. Banners that flutter in the breeze, Buddha's, dragons, bamboo walls, Mayan statues, bunches of balloons that bob up and down, Russian minarets, African animals, diamond mine conveyor belt, stunning ocean theme wall pack, Aboriginal artwork, samurai warriors and a few more ride entrances. Unfortunately no new entertainers to go with them, no more coloured waters either. (You can get a pink water download at the official website.)The scenarios are very well laid out with good uses of the new scenery and still challenging money-wise but I think I'll build my own and just have to be picky about which objects I use. Still moaning about that! I really want to give it more stars but it just doesn't tick all the boxes for me and if there is another add-on it will probably be just the same, just had one and now I'm wishing for another. No satisfying some people! At least with Zoo Tycoon the add-ons were better, but I'll leave that to another review. I'm crossing fingers and toes for RCT3, hopefully the makers will take note of what people are saying in the forums out there, but it will probably be a long wait. Buy Wacky Worlds just for the new scenery and not for the "new" rides and you'll be happy, I'm still as obsessed by it as when RCT1 came out.
