Amazon.co.uk Review In a nutshell: The ultimate evolution of virtual pet: Nintendogs gives you opportunity to preen and look after a selection of cute puppies in a virtual home, with virtual currency, where you can buy toys and accessories for their enjoyment. You can clean the pups, feed them, walk them, play catch with them, and even talk to them. The lowdown: Nintendogs is brimming with character. Each pup looks out from the DS touchscreen and paws longingly. You can respond to your virtual pet's need of attention by stroking the screen, using items such as balls and brushes with the aid of the stylus, and talking to your dogs through the DS's inbuilt microphone system. Impressive 3D graphics give lifelike animation to these canine wonders. Most exciting moment: After a few attempts to speak commands into the microphone, your puppy understands the meaning of "sit", barks approval, and sits down. It's good to talk. Since you ask: You can keep three pups in your home at any time. When left to their own devices, they'll play and play-fight together. And they call this 'puppy love'. The bottom line: A Nintendog is not just for Christmas. Jonti Davies

Great! July 30, 2010 tinsel18 I bought this game for myself and thought it a super fun game to play! You can adopt a virtual puppy, feed, take it for walks, dress it up, change the room, enter it in compitions and even teach it cool tricks! The best thing is that your puppy stays a puppy so its always cute and lively! There is a range of different breeds to choose from which is great and even better, if you connect to another player who has Nintendogs (it dosent matter what version. They all work together)then sometimes you get some new puppy breeds in the kennels! Its really cute and sweet and can entertain you for hours! I recomened this game for all kids from 7+! I dont think that it has a maximum age so everybody can have one!
Nintendo DS Game July 29, 2010 Samantha Reader My Niece loves this game being able to play and train and feed and clean her dogs.
nintendogs July 13, 2010 A. Mcewen (london) Nintendogs (any version, dalmation, labrador, etc.,) is a great game which kids love. You start off with a dog looking after it, feeding it, taking it on walks where you can get "gifts" of toys or accessories for your dog. Enter it into competitions to get money to buy food and supplies etc., and bark mode is when your child and another one who has a nintendogs game can play together meeting on walks, swapping accessories etc., when you encounter another dog on bark mode, that type of dog then becomes available at the kennels so it doesn't matter which one you buy you will eventually be able to buy any type of dog going. My kids love this and never really tire of it always going back to see how their dog is doing. Trying to teach it tricks is annoying but otherwise excellent value for money if you can get one for under £20.
A bit frustrating . . . April 3, 2010 Swiss Miss (Geneva) Thought this would be great for my children but found it a bit frustrating. There are one or two moments when they can play unassisted but generally found too much writing and adult assistance needed to really get into the game. Both my 7 and 4 year old lost interest which is a pity as they were both so excited about it initially. Much prefer Animal Crossing, Peppa Pig, Dora or MarioKart.

Nintendogs is THE BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got it a few months ago [I liked it so much I got the others] and basically you buy a puppy and care for it and enter it in contests, soon when your trainer points go up you can unlock more breeds of dog and house designs. [all the games are the same exept you start with diffrent breeds of dog] Nintendogs is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fun I could never say a bad word about it!!!!!!!!
