    3 out of 5 stars A tidy little game   November 26, 2008

This is a nice, cute little clever game that I believe will appeal to children (especially girls)and casual gamers. However it only had me interested for about 5 hours or thereabouts (longer for kids probably) so its really up to you if you think that is enough for you, lets just say I'm glad I got it as a gift and didn't use my had earned cash! Despite what some reviews say it does actually get quite hard in some points but for me this was more frustrating than fun. I've heard that Cooking mama 2 is better and, overall, it has had better reviews amongst many gaming journalists. So if you are still up for it, I would get the second one if I were you. But why did I give it a 3? Well, its really not a terrible game and as I say it did hold my interest for a while and the world is very cute and colourful, but I shall be selling it soon! However if I were an 8 year old girl I would be giving this 5 stars so get it for your kid if you are stuck for ideas.

Who knew cooking could be so much fun? When you first start to play the game you are hooked. You demand to score a gold medal for you dish but mama keeps giving you 80/100. When you finallt get the top score you unlock new dishes. All different techniques are used which keeps you playing for hours upon end. The only disappointment for me would be that I completed it quite quickly but I decided to start fresh and go all the way to the beginning.

This is a fantastic game for all ages, even adults!
I have burnt my pork stir fry every time, but my 6yr old gets 80-100 points each time, I also can't hit the right place to crack an egg, but yes my daughter can!
On to cooking mama 2, hopefully it is as good!

Cooking mama is an great game I got this game for my birthday and I have been playing it for hours there is so many recipes you can make it is loads of great fun for all ages but I have to admit it dose get boring after you have been playing it for ages and it can be a bit annoying when it freezes so beware of that. So I think this is an excellent game so
I would recommend it to everyone.
