    Product Description

When a wealthy baron passes away, his will reveals an elusive treasure hidden someplace inside the village. Now it`s up to Professor Layton to untangle St. Mystere`s riddles and puzzles, find the hidden treasure and crack the case. As Professor Layton, you`ll tackle over 130 puzzles as you unravel the mysteries of the village. Puzzles range from mazes and riddles to logic and sliding puzzles. 5 out of 5 stars Great game   July 28, 2010

Great puzzles and storyline with a twist at the end. Takes a nice while to finish the game so good value for money.

    5 out of 5 stars Addictive!   July 28, 2010

I bought Professor Layton & The Curious Village after speaking to a friend who was working her way through it. I am not into murder mystery, but oh dear, I am so addicted to Professor Layton & The Curious Village! I love the animation in it, the storyline & how some of the puzzles are easy to solve, whilst others will tax this middle age-ed brain of mine that wee bit more! Will definitely buy the follow up game & I do hope there are plans for more of the same in the Professor Layton range!

4 out of 5 stars Good game to test your brain.   July 17, 2010

This is the kind of game to test your brain, ok so mine may not be the best around for working out puzzles but for anyone that likes a bit of a challenge then go ahead and purchase the first of these, when you have completed it you can move on to the newer versions.
I will think about purchasing the next one in line when I finish this one.

5 out of 5 stars fun for all   July 12, 2010

This game is fun for all the family. I enjoyed it as an adult and my two daughters 16 and 11 both loved it, can't wait for the next one to come out

1 out of 5 stars Do not buy this rubbish   July 6, 2010

I brought this game for my son and he is most upset. My son is a top Gamer and sailed through "Meddle of Honer" in just a few days clocking up 300 kills in just one afternoon , I was told this game was "wonderful" so I got it for his DS and he hated it. Its all about going round with some silly man in a silly hat with a young boy who does not do anything , and all these people just give you math's tests and stupid games moving match sticks and working out the weight of apples...
It would be better if the old man had a gun and went around shooting the village folk , or maybe got to tie them up and beat them up until they reveil where the gold is or what ever the point to this waste of time is all about.
Even the car at the start is rubbish , I have "Grand theft auto" and a few car chases would not go a miss to liven up this stupid game..
If you enjoy "shoot-em-ups" as much as me ...avoid this one !!
