4 out of 5 stars Imagine Babies   December 28, 2008
Just for the record, I am 13 years old, but nearly 14, so this is one teenage girl's opinion if you're thinking of buying this for your daughter (because I don't think you will enjoy it if you are over 14)

Imagine Babies is a good enough game, but there are some bad points.

    > The house where you move the babies from room-to-room, and collect and return them is a bit - for want of a better word - rubbish. It looks plain and boring and the fact you can change the colour of the walls doesn't make it any better.

    > The instructions aren't very clear, it takes a few tries before you figure out what to do in each 'mini-game' and it gives off the impression that the game was rushed, which somehow makes you enjoy it less.

    > It's quite hard to actually get praise from the parents, because it's hard to get a baby completely happy. The parents give you a wee pointer about what the baby needs and you have to figure the rest out yourself.

There are a few more bad points, but I'm moving on to the good stuff now because this is a good game so I wouldn't want you to disregard it because I've written more bad things than good.

    > The graphics on the mini-game bits are very good, not too realistic, but real enough.

    > When you get the hang of it, the game is fun.

    > You are never standing (or sitting) with nothing to do, so you don't get bored.

    > You can buy outfits and toys (not to mention carpets and furniture) which means you want to keep working at it, even though it's fairly easy to get these.

    > It's a great game!

If you have a daughter aged about 8-14, then I recommend it if she's a girl that likes the cutesy baby image and doesn't mind getting annoyed if she can't figure out how to play the game because of the unclear instructions.

2 out of 5 stars little bit hard!   November 30, 2008

i did enjoy this game after a while but it is very confusing and quite tricky to get the hang of. when i let my younger cousins borrow it they found it tricky too as the instructions dont really let you no what to do. but once you figure it out its OK. wouldnt recommened it for young children. (teens maybe).

4 out of 5 stars Great game but a bit complicated   November 12, 2008

I brought this for my 6 year old daughter who had just got a ds. She found it very complicated and gave up with it after about 10 minutes so I took over and I have to admit I got rather addicted! The games are complicated and I don't think the instructions are very clear but once I got the hang of it I couldn't put it down- much to my daughters annoyance! I have tried to explain it to her but she still really struggles with a lot of the games so I would definatly recommend this game for slightly older children.

imagine babies is a great game if you love babies. Some of the mini games are tricky at first but then you get used to them. The babies only go to sleep if they are tired. The stork [big bird]is very helpful at first because it tells you what the babies need ,if you need the storks opinion you click on the white chimney. To go to the shops click on the laptop. Over all i would recommend this game from age 8 to 100. IT IS GREAT.

3 out of 5 stars I got my baby to sleep!!!   August 30, 2008

This game is ok I guess
Ive already written a review on this when I couldent
get the baby to sleep but now I can!
First you rock them in your arms, then you put them in the cot and rock
them steadly after a little while the baby will fall asleep.
Keep rocking for a little longer to check they really are asleep
and if they dont wake up you press the back arrow. And you can mow the lawn or something.
Check them after a while and theyll be awake.
    Hope I was helpful.Hannah 8 years old.oxox
