NO CHALLENGE AT ALL December 9, 2008 E87 (UK) I was given this game as a present and have completed 94% of the game after just a few sessions. I am hiding that fact from my wife so she does not get upset at the waste of money. The action is always the same and I thought the other characters you take over would give you extra moves / special powers, but no, just the same boring jump / shoot / punch / kick as Spidey has ( I was looking forward to playing as Doc Oc !!). No sticking bad guys to the walls or shooting web around in this game, just little web bullets all the time. The game even tells you which way to go to find the objectives, no major brain power needed here. The mini games were the only part to cause any skill to be needed, but after a few goes, even they become boring. My advice, watch the film instead ( 1 or 2 - not 3 that was rubbish ) Update - there are in fact special moves for the characters, but being a man I did not read the instructions and only found out about them by accident the day I finished the game (on the 3rd session)This just goes to prove how easy the game was to be completed without using them. I still think this game is a waste of money and should not be bought for anyone with an intelligence level over that of a dead rabbit.
wasted his money August 29, 2008 Ram Tanner (Leeds, UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My lad played this game for 2 hours and was really enjoying it. The problem was he completed the game in that time. He is not a prolific gamer so those of you who take this seriously could probably do this a lot quicker. My boy is 12 and had bought this game out of his own money and felt really disapointed and that he had wasted his money
