The best console RTS ever made... December 30, 2008 Mr. B. Sellers Title says it all. This is the best RTS I've ever played, not just on console. It has the same feel as the Age of Empire series... Its an excellent game... BUY IT...
Tom Clancy's End War December 26, 2008 M. RUTTER The game demo for Xbox 360 has become the best game demo I have played so far, videos are cool as they have won the official E3 2008 award for best trailers. The game itself is based on Realistic Strategic Simulation Action Packed Tactical Game play, in simple terms it means it's good for anyone who wants the future now. I am surprised the game was released so early and that is why I purchased the game the first day I played the demo. The game itself is available on: Xbox 360: Tom Clancy's End War (Xbox 360) PS3: Tom Clancy's End War (PS3) PSP: Tom clancy's End War (PSP)
Clancy comes a cropper December 23, 2008 Bill Kelly (Liverpool, UK) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
Given the excitement of the Vegas and Recon elements of the Tom Clancy franchise, this is a major disappointment: Granted, it is a strategy game rather than a charcter or FPS game. However, the graphics are no more than ordianry and the back story is dilatory. Very unengaging.
It's good...but I'm not! November 29, 2008 J. Evans (Wales) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
After an near interminable wait, I was pleasantly surprised when End War eventually turned up. After initially trying to play the game with only the handset I was beginning wish I hadn't bothered. However when I was reminded that there was a headset still unused in my X-Box...box things became much easier and fun! I'm just not very good at it! The control system is really good once you get the hand of it; voice recognition is pretty good and as a previous reviewer said once you get the hang of some of the maps, gameplay flows. Although I'm sure there are better strategy games out there End War is a ood addition for the uninitiated. A very enjoyable blast even if I do feel a bit of a tool taking to the tv screen!
End War? End the Game and stick in Gears of War2 November 9, 2008 M. Baker (UK) 0 out of 9 found this review helpful
a good concept for a game, a good setting but they might as well have used the setting from Red Storm Rising but that's about it. Unfortunately it is an insult to the RTS games out there, even if this is on the xbox. The only thing that makes this game interesting is the voice commands.. if you have a PC and Xbox get World in Conflict or even the older Joint Task Force for the PC as they are superior. better yet, pack End War back in its box and buy Gears of War 2 on the 360.
