News from SteelSeries October 30, 2008 L. Brown (London, England) 14 out of 21 found this review helpful
After mailing SteelSeries for some more indepth specs on this item, I found out the following: Laser USB CPI 800 - 3000 CPI 15 programmable buttons length - 5 inces width - 3 inches 7/8 height - 1 inch 7/8 The CPI is high enough to cope with most demands (with most high-end gaming mice topping out at 3200 D/CPI, and the Lachesis Banshee hitting 4000). For anyone wavering about buying this item, I hope the specs helped - I think all the WoW related stuff along with the acceptable CPI has pushed me over the edge!
Mouse comparison. October 16, 2008 Tom Heald (Cheshire, Uk.) 5 out of 60 found this review helpful
Ok, so I use the Razer Death Adder at 1800 dpi. It comes with software for macros and changeable bindings. However, it only has 5 buttons. Now this mouse is not yet out however I have always been satisfied with Blizzard products. At a price like 54 I imagine the mouse will be very effective. As it is a Warcraft designed product I imagine in a year or possible 2 new things will come out, perhaps special functions that can only be used in warcraft. Or perhaps special movement that can only be used with the mouse. Just thinking up ideas of why this mouse might be useful. I know ill be buying it.
