Quite possibly the most essential title in the Resident Evil classic series. July 13, 2010 Mr. D. A. Glover (Hampshire, UK) So you've revisited and survived the "mansion incident" Resident Evil (Wii) which was reworked beautifully by Capcom, capturing the feel of Playstation original and expanding on the story just enough to provide a fresh take on a familiar classic, while taking nothing away from the '96 offering. The next logical step was the creation a completely original title to elorate further on the reinvisioning of 'Resident Evil' the "remake," a prequel.
'Resident Evil Zero' takes you back a mere day before the exploits of 'Alpha Team,' who were subsequently investigating the aftermath of the investigation into a series of "grisly murders" taken place in the 'Arkley Mountains,' an investigation led by the Bravo Team.
We follow the story of Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen as they overcome a speeding passenger train full of zombies, your token "boss" creatures and a mysterious infestation of giant leeches.
'Zero' is absolutely essential for all fans of the classic series.
not good enough May 21, 2010 B. C. Webb 0 out of 6 found this review helpful
I am really not happy with this game.
It does make use of the resident evil characters and locations but I do not like the following camera angle, I much prefer having the playing characters point of view.
The button selection for actions is difficult to get a good pace, and the movement is just simply awful.
I also have a big problem with amazon for not being able to say how many players any of the wii games can take.

A step backwards February 24, 2010 Russell S. Henderson 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The game looks pretty good. The graphics are smart, but the controls really dissapoint. The wii should be all about interaction, but the controller is as basic as they come. None of the shaking the controller to allow certain moves. Doubt if i'll be as enthused with this game as others.

I personally love RE 4 - but this is very good if you haven't played any of the RE games. Lots of puzzles to solve in this one.
