I got a gun A BIG GUN September 6, 2010 T.Bot Guns guns guns and bigger guns, close combat moves altenate endings grenades with diamonds.
This is only a small part of new developments the story is not new but spcial.
Gameplay... alone nice.. Co-op Splitscreen - to crack up-
it 's nummber two of "Army of TWO" it 's nearly essential that you played number one, it allusive.
Now you have Moral good moral for saving civilists and save white tigers bevor they extinct, this gives you alternat weapons, otherwise are you kill people for nothing much more civilans hate you and don t gives you new guns...
Like the first one you can pimp your guns search the tools in the game or buy it in your mobile weapons store make it "bling bling" or in cold camoflage look buy grenade launche etc....
It 's a funy game. Im not tested the Multiplayermodus for online carnage.
Good game, but laggy online September 3, 2010 Atiqul This is a good action shooter. It provides plenty of thrills as you blast your way through Shanghai. There is a bit of replay value too, with multiple endings, moral choices to be made which determine the outcome of missions and rewards, lots of guns and customisable parts, etc. You will get lots of bang for your buck. Now for the bad parts, it suffers from some online issues such as lag and connection problems. I would not recommend buying this game if you are solely buying it for online coop play, as I did too and these issues can be very frustrating at times.
Same old story August 30, 2010 Mr. C. K. Hill (Cambridge) Army of TWO the 40th Day is just like Deja Vu from the first, but they managed to make it boring.
Downs:
1) After playing for an hour or so you get the feeling of same, same, same.. Enemy, backdrops and level layout. After four hours it is the same I am afraid.
2) Every Level you have the same challenges, just differnet maps. You get your general enemy, a couple of guys placed behind a "mounted" gun and then the odd end of stage Boss.
3) End of stage bosses are the same with just different weapons. The three are minigun, flame thrower or grenade launcher but the stratergy is the same for all! Flank them and shoot them from behind! YAWN.
4) You have access to lots of firepower? Well actually you have access to lots of different types of guns but they really do not have their own personality. All feel the same pretty much when shooting.
5)Customizing weapons, wow thats cool..! Well actually no because you soon realize that your custom upgrades actually have a habit of making your gun less accurate or deadly. To often you find that for example you payout for a barrel upgrade and only to find out that it makes it less accurate then the standard barrel.
6) New choices to spare someone or not at certain points? I thought at the start this might be something interesting, something that might change how the game plays out? Nope it has no real impact at all, you do get to see a brief cartoon playout of what your choice caused! But it has no actual effect on how the game plays out.
7) Oh and I am still wondering what the hell the story is about?
UP's:
1) You do manage to shoot and shoot and SHOOT at lots of enemy.
2) The "Aggro" system almost works..is a very clever idea but the game is just to reliant on it... just.
3) The ability to change camera to look around cover is a very good idea.
4) Not really much other then that I am afraid.
How disgusting June 7, 2010 JIMBO MIC WATFORD 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
This game looks amazingly cool at first glance, but it isn't, I can assure you. The graphics of this game are hideous. Plus the shooting mechanics are clunky, and the controls are dreadful. The only good thing is the co-op, but there is no split screen mode.
I thought that a sequel was ment to improve a game, not make it dreadful.
1/5
Very good May 1, 2010 Jupiter9 (UK) This game is absolutely superb but only under some certain circumstances. Firstly it gets a little boring after quite a short while and the other is you really need a friend who has it as well for the ultimate co-op experience, if you have a mate who has it, it is just brilliant.
