firstly i will give the enemy are very acurate and spot you easily given you are in camoflage but it adds edge to the game, try to remember that you are a sniper and patience and creepy creepy hide and snipe that are needed not like c'o'd were its run with guns ablaze, i have enjoyed this game and not found it annoying

what is there to say? i bought this game with the idea that this is a sniper game which has to contend with the likes of COD4-5-6, battlefield, etc. but what i got was a waste of money and a feeling of 'i dont even want to finnish this game'.
good points:
bullet cam- take a cracking good shot and you get to see it from both ends basically. nice little touch i thought.
thats all i can think of!
bad points:
graphics - poor. i found plants/rocks/buildings where invisible walls prevented me from using some cover that would hve done a real sniper proud.
AI system - using the stealth the game talks about during tutorial i get spotted through jungles from miles away.
weapons - it was more effective to enter and clear buildings using the sniper rifle as the pistol was less than useless.
mission stages - one mission see you running from a fenceacross an open field. my game glytched and so i was constantly taking damage. even when i got to the next area and was denied a checkpoint. i had to switch off my xbox to sort this out. i would have liked it if you could shoot these 'snipers' but even in cover you take the damage. very annoying!
ammo - the amount you could carry was amazing! i was carting around 300 rounds. and for a sniper who need to run around like a headless chicken this is a bit much.
multiplayer - very poor. very boring. you cant go prone so thats one sniper trick gone. there is also not variation of equipment. radar gives you away so there is no sniper aspect to it as in' where did that come from, oh the radar sys hes over there and oh yes there he is'
in the end very poor. fun at first but it dies on you after mission 1. i didnt finnish the game and promtly traded it in for.
dont waste your money people. instead of this i would reccomend call of duty MW2 or even battlefield BC2 for better sniper experiences.

I was really looking forward to getting this game and at first i was well impressed with the graphics and the promise of what was to come....Boy was i disappointed. This game is sooooooo glitchy and when you hide from enemies in the bushes (like your supposed to) you cant see a thing and yet you can be seen as soon as you pop your head out to try to see what is going on and where your enemies might be.....when you get shot at ..every shot hits you even when there are others for them to shoot at. really liked the physics of the sniping but too many bad things about the game that i just stopped playing it cos it was no fun. A rare thing for me.....a game that will just gather dust.

Last night i finished playing Sniper Ghost Warrior, have to say the graphics are really good. I just like the way, when you put the crosshairs of your sniper rifle over the target. You just aim at the head, you see the bullet travel in slow mo. That's so clever, and you feel the impact, and very real. There were 2 things that have let this game down quite badly. The AI is very hit and miss, i mean you think you're in cover but somebody still can see you and then pinpoint where you are. On one level, i was in a base sneaking away from there, about to crawl onto some pipes. There was a guard, who should have seen me, i sneaked past him. But he didn't even blink. Even me on these pipes didn't make any difference.
I do like playing this game, but if another one like this comes out next time. I do feel there is a lot of work to improve the overall content of the game.

I got this at the same time as 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2' so maybe the comparison I inevitably draw is a bit unfair, but here goes for my review..
Overall the game is not too bad, you get some basic training to get you started and then its into the missions.
Now alongside this I am playing CODMW2, and this is nowhere near as good, but thats not to say its all bad.
Pros:
Sniping is great! The actual sniping moments are great fun and its pretty satisfying when you get a kill.
The graphics are not bad but the is the odd glitch, but these do not detract. It looks pretty good on my LCD TV.
Cons:
The missions just do not feel as well put together as they might, and some of the non-sniper mission seem out of pace.
The AI is patchy and sometimes the enemy cold not see you if you stood in front of them, other times they spot you wherever you hide!!
So all in all not a bad game, but just don't expect something as complex and detailed as CODMW2.
If you want to try a FPS with a bit more sniping then its worth a look.
