    5 out of 5 stars A really innovitive game   November 23, 2008

    To cut to the chase;
    1. The game is set in Haven city while you are trying to rescue Jak from prison.
    2. Although the story follows a classic J&D approach with set missions to complete, there is one thing to be noticed; the actual ground that is available to be accessed is deceptive. There are red barriers stopping you and you can not get out the city, explore the entire haven, or 'jak' any rides.
    3. It is a great game, with amazing psp graphics, and story line that leaps forward at the end. My one gripe is that it has no guns, but it does have a gas cannister with 3 add ons.

    To sum up, it is a really good game with dream sequences that could really extend game play. Just don't expext anything identical to J&K 1 and 2.

    5 out of 5 stars Lets hope they make a sequel to this terrific Jak 2 prequel   October 20, 2008

    This game is terrific! Love it! Downside? There isn't one! Fun, easy controls, brilliant funny little cut scenes and sooooo addictive. I am a HUGE fan of the Rachet & Clank series. I bought their cracking PSP adventure first and yet R&S Size Matters and is currently gathering dust until I finish this game.
    Such simple controls and cool little moves, excellent, never slow down graphics and a big game world. Even more enjoyable than the original Jak & Daxter games and thats saying something I can tell you!
    Oh bugger, I forgot to charge up my PSP last night and it just ran out of power while I was playing it in my office. Guess I'll have to get some work done now :0(
    Lets hope they make a sequel to this terrific Jak 2 prequel ;0)

    5 out of 5 stars Theres not much else to say but...BRILLIANT!   September 13, 2008

    I got this game not thinking too much of it, as I thought it wouldn't be able to be anywhere as good as the jak & Daxter series. But I was wrong. I started playing and suddenly thought how could all this be achieved on the little psp. The detail is amazing and the scenery is much like the ones of the jak series.
    The only bad is that the game is a little short, lasting up to about 8 - 10 hours. But if you want to collect everything that will take a bit longer. It is a great acton/adventure.

    To sum up, this is one of the best games on the psp, and recommend it to anybody who owns the console.

    I'm quite a beginner at games, but I found this really good fun, I have not yet completed it, but am enjoying every moment of playing it. There are some tricky bits which I got stuck on, but overall it is quite easy. This does not mean it isn't suitable for more experienced players, my brother is an amazing gamer, but he still found it fun and enjoyed playing it. Playing this game has encouraged me to purchase other games like it. I hope this has helped you.

    Games like these are few and far between. The Humour is the highest you will ever see on any console. I was laughing so hard I almost had heart attack. The Daxter is excellent character, we all know that JAK never talks. The Gameplay is same from Jak Series , the playing areas are huge and the details is close to Next GEN. The audio and movement is superb. If you want a game that sells this machine . This is it, There is no game better on the PSP. 10 out 10
