This is possibly the best game on the N-gage, it's also one of the best portable racing simulators ever. The graphics are excellent (the scenery is full of lovely touches and really feels like its locations: twisty hilly roads in italy, snow-filled pine forests in sweden, dusty plains in australia, white valleys in greece etc), fast and smooth with no slowdown. More importantly though the gameplay is difficult and deep... if you just accelerate blindly you'll damage your car and lose the race (and the damage is visible, you see bits hanging off the car as it gets more and more trashed).
The biggest surprise for me was how deep the gameplay was. Normally racers aren't very thoughtful but this isn't an arcade game, it's a real rally sim. You have to plan your maintenance strategy fairly carefully between races, decide which tyres to go for, which car etc etc.
The nicest thing though was the n-gage arena support: you can race against other people round the world through the internet which means even when you beat the game you still have real people to compete with.
This isn't an easy game, you have to put time and effort into it to win. If you prefer arcadey racers on the n-gage, try Asphalt urban GT. If you like realism, go for Colin.
