    Amazon.co.uk Review
The Wii plays host to another totally unique game as you hunt for the electric Eledees with a gravity gun that can send everything from teapots to family cars flying. Making a mess was never so much fun.

Konami have been one of the most reticent of the big Japanese publishers, in being coaxed away from just supporting the PlayStation. But with their first game on the Wii there's no sign of Solid Snake or Silent Hill. Instead they've created something entirely original, although its influences are as diverse as Pikmin and Half-Life 2.

The game has you collecting the cute little Eledees that are hidden in various locations around the levels. In order to coax them out you have a gravity gun with which you can manipulate the environment, from opening drawers and cupboards to flinging around lawnmowers and dunking basketballs. The more Eledees you collect, the heavier the objects your can move, from pots and pans in the beginning, to whole houses by the end of a level. As well as just being able to lift heavier objects, gradually charging up your gun allows you to power electrical equipment. Stick a chicken in the microwave or start the garden sprinklers and dozens of Eledees are revealed. This leads to some surprisingly complex puzzles and ensures almost everything in a level is interactive to some degree.

The game has a multiplayer mode, with four people competing to collect the most Eledees they can find. However only one person gets to control the camera (via the nunchuck) which is bound to lead to arguments. - HARRISON DENT

5 out of 5 stars good value for money, good for young children   January 3, 2010

basically a searching game where you have to collect eledees (little electric sprites) to power up appliances after a power cut. not a matter of just a couple either. there are 100s of the sprites and as the levels progress you have to manipulate more objects to free the eledees, open cupboards, turn taps on ecetera ecetera.

graphics are good, simple enough to get a youngster playing quickly, and there's a 2 player mode which i'm coming to realise is rare for wii! there is a camera control that lets both players dictate movement alterately, and you can set the time on the race against time tasks (good when playing with youngsters).

and it started a little chat about how electricity makes things work!

    definitely worth buying.

5 out of 5 stars Electrifying Eledees Excellent Entertainment   September 13, 2009

We bought this game for our 3 year old grandson as he had great difficulty coping with Rayman's Raving Rabbids and was becoming very frustrated. The Eledees became firm favourites instantly with all the family, adults and children alike. They are cute little characters, the games are colourful and entertaining, with increasing levels of difficulty, and extras like videos of the Eledees Dancing. You can play it online with friends. The children love the concept of throwing the furniture around in their bedroom and sneaking into their parents' room to wreak havoc. The instructions are good both in the leaflet and when you play the game, and it is easy to save games so you can go back and retry them, or compete against yourself to raise your score. When you get past a certain score on Level One you are able to unlock another game where the Eledees are bigger and easier to zap, and this is the screen we use most with the 3 year old. The game has proved popular with all our grandchildren, boys and girls, ranging in age from 9 to 3, so much so that I bought a second copy. I recommend it without reservation.

5 out of 5 stars Jolly Good Fun   May 22, 2009

I only found this game trawling through the reviews. Nobody I knew had heard of it, so I thought I'd take a chance anyway and I'm glad I did! It was originally bought for my 11 year old daughter although we all play it. It's a real stress buster as you frantically search out these little electric people and try to capture them and while you do it you throw furniture about and generally trash the place. You can play it on your own or with two is good or if you want a manic time play with four. I would recommend this to anyone. Have fun!

The games great fun but it makes me sick...physically sick!!! I don't suffer from motion sickness or anything but after 5 minutes of playing I'm dizzy and nauseous! It results in me having to turn off the game and lie down.

I bought Eledees a couple of weeks ago and absolutely love it. It's pure escapism. Whenever I play i'll always say i'll just have one more go, just another quick go. Before I know it 5 hours have passed and the boyfriend wants feeding. Would recommend to anyone.
