Game itself is close to the board version with a twist added with all the different versions of the board itself giving more exciting environments to play in.Would have had 5 stars had it not been for the irritating background music whish you are unable to turn off.

Having used the PC version of Monopoly for more years than I care to remember I purchased this version in the hope of more competive "non-human" players. This was not the case, in fact they are rubbish! The option of the "Richest" game is however novel. Not value for money but the graphics are good.

OK, so as you may have guessed the latest version of Monopoly for Playstation doesn't offer online play. This does seem like a strange ommision for a game made for the most powerful games machine in the world. But then was Monopoly ever going to be the game you bought a PS3 for? I bought this as a replacement for Monopoly Party (PS2) and it's more than up to the job. The graphics are better, although not as good as I would have expected. The main improvement for me is the gameplay. Even in standard mode, the game is much quicker. There's no more sitting around watching the boot slowly hop it self around to Mayfair. There are a wide variety of different boards to play with, which you unlock by winning games or buying certain properties. There aren't many family games for my PS3, but this has earned a place inbetween Singstar and Buzz.
