I was after a wireless mouse that had extra buttons for gaming. Someone recommended this to me, but it seemed a little pricey. However, I had some spare cash so I splashed out, and I'm glad I did. It's very responsive, feels nice in my hand (I have quite small hands but have no trouble using it), the mouse wheel has very defined clicks, which are great for FPS's (my game of choice), though as someone else has mentioned it does take ages to scroll on web pages- I have taken to using page up/down! The finish is nice too, with a kind of rubbery soft feel to it. The lights on the wheel and dock are a really nice shade of blue. The cable to charge/plug in dock is properly sheathed, so there's no chance of it getting damaged easily. The only niggle I have (very small one) is that if you plug the mouse in directly, rather than using the dock, the cable is not very easy to get out- I find I end up mashing the buttons trying to do this.

The packaging is hugely OTT. If the mouse goes to sleep, it takes a few seconds to wake up. The programming software is highly flakey, and writing configs to the mouse or reading them back again takes an absolute age. Razer 'Synapse' is a joke, Razer 'Glacier' more like. My mouse occasionally misses a click on the main mouse button which has proved fatal in several games. Oh and the absolute kicker, my windows 7 PC will no longer hibernate after installing the Razer Mamba driver. And Razer don't bother answering their support emails. In short, you can probably get better functionality and service elsewhere for a lot less money.

I used Roccat Kone mouse before moving to this in order to remove the need for wires.
This mouse is very responsive and is a good fit in my big hands, I wish it were a bit heavier as its really light, the kone came with weights which I used the heaviest ones available so this new mouse is feather like.
Putting it on the recharge stand is a bit of a pain at times as you need to make sure the contacts on the dock are in the right position with the underside of the mouse, not always straight forward. Version 2 should have some sort of proximity charging feature.
Overall a good mouse which I am sticking with although its a bit overpriced.

Always had razer equipment.
Took a chance on the MAMBA, yes it is expensive.
But man alive, it is an incredible piece of kit.
Any serious gamer MUST BUY this mouse.
DPI upto 5600 adjustable on the fly, so easy to set up.
The functions available are incredible.
I feel i have purchased a fantastic product.
It is well made, it OUT PERFORMS any product i have tried before and is so smooth and precise it's superb.
BUY IT NOW IF ITS AVAILABLE, and i can assure you you will not be disappointed.
It also looks so damn cool also, when it charges it undulates with a gorgeous blow glow.
I believe this is by far the best mouse on the market at this time.
ALL HAIL RAZER gaming tools, made by gamers for gamers.
Also the service was excelent, with accurate information regarding the delivery.
The delivery was great as the goods were delivered at 7.10am which was perfect as it was there for me when i came home from work all ready to install.
Great for working people and for me this was superb.
A very good company to deal with, and i felt secure and comfortable paying online as the security online was superb.
IF YOU WANT THE MAMBA I RECOMMEND AMAZON AND WILL USE THEM AGAIN FOR ANY OTHER REQUIREMENTS

i talked a friend into buying one , then when i tried it
i bought one strait away , get the razer exactmat to go with it .
it glides so easy......
